My health and fitness journey began over 20 years ago, after my first back surgery. I was able to eliminate my pain and depression and ended my dependancy on pharmaceutical medications.

My passion is guiding others to gain awareness and create freedom and expansion in their body through movement and breath.

If you are ready, together we will break free from habits and patterns that keep you stuck and discover abundance in all areas of your life!

My classes are for every fitness level - if it's your first time taking a class or you've been moving for years, there is something for everyone.

In this short video, I will share with you what makes my classes very different from traditional yoga classes you might have taken.

I have found a very effective method to allow your body to expand and create more space. These methods are guaranteed to free you from pain, tightness, restrictions, and pain in your body.

Whether it's your first class or you have an advanced yoga practice, this class is for you!

Sunrise Yoga

Start your day off with the warm glow of the sunrise and allow it's healing energy to boost your serotonin, helping to stabilize your mood. Practicing in the morning sunlight will also help to re-calibrate your circadian rhythm, allowing for more focus during the day and better sleep at night.

Classes are outdoors - please bring a mat, towel, water (optional items: large towel/blanket, bug spray, yoga strap/block)

Evening Yin Yoga

Finish off your day with a soothing, yin yoga practice that calms your nervous system and prepares your body for deep, well rested sleep.

City Center Yoga

This class is for all levels - even if it's your first time. We begin with gentle movement and stretching to allow the body to create more space before we work into a flow. Each class is different and created based on the needs of the attendees.

Classes are indoor - please bring a mat, towel, and water (optional items: yoga strap/block)

Movement is something we all NEED in our lives, our bodies were made to move. Teaching is truly a passion of mine and I am here to be the catalyst for bringing expansion and movement into the lives of others.

Creating a fee-based class and charging insane prices goes against everything I believe a class should be.

BODY AWARENESS

My goal in every class is to have you feel what your body is trying to communicate and discover how to respond. It is NOT normal to be in constant pain, nor should you settle for living in pain. My classes are designed to free your body from stiffness and pain, allowing a free-flowing, unrestricted range of motion, and movement of your body.

I welcome ALL fitness levels to my class. Whether it's the first class you've ever taken or you're a regular, there is always a variety of options offered to get you out of your comfort zone and allow you to progress and grow mentally, physically, and emotionally.

20+ YEARS EXPERIENCE

My training in the health, fitness, and wellness industry began over 20 years ago as a massage therapist working with athletes to recover from and prevent injuries. From there I deepened my studies of the human body as a personal trainer, 500+hr trained yoga instructor, and transformational wellness coach specializing in sleep and stress management.

I can assure you, my yoga class will not be like any class you have ever taken before. I combine my appreciation for manual therapy with my love of yoga and breathwork to give you a unique experience in each class!

I've lasted so long in this industry because I truly love being a guide for people to transform their health and well-being. If you're looking for a quick fix, I'm not your girl. I'm here for a sustainable, long-term lifestyle.

Breaking you free from your habits and patterns, negative self-talk, and beliefs are my mission! Often times we think we can't do something, even though we've never even tried.

How much is the class?

I want to be the catalyst for you to being moving your body, releasing tension and pain and bringing expansion and freedom into your range of motion.

I don't charge a set fee for the class. I prefer people to pay what they can. Most students typically donate 3-7 BD per class. There are online payment options below or you can bring cash to class. Anything is appreciated.

I keep a low overhead and do the website and marketing myself. I also use the donations from class to buy and bring extra equipment to class for students to use if they might not have something.

What other services are offered?

The donation based classes are AM and PM yoga, as well as a strength training class.

What if I have never taken a yoga class before?

Then you are in good hands! My classes are not like traditional yoga classes. By combining my 20+ years of knowledge and experience as a massage therapist, personal trainer, and yoga instructor, the classes are a unique blend of exactly what your body needs.

I've been doing yoga for years. Will this class benefit me?

Before we start class, I invite everyone to feel into their body to see where they are feeling tightness, restrictions, and/or pain. No matter where you are in your practice, we will increase the expansion and space in your body, working with the nervous system to bring a sense of calm into the body, as it is challenged during the asanas. Modifications of all levels are offered, and if you are looking to be challenged more, I can help you work through deepening your practice and taking it to new levels.

Do I have to pay now?

No, there are multiple options to give your donation. The payment option below allows for credit cards, you may also pay cash at the class, or you can pay online with Benefit Pay, Zelle, or even PayPal.

There is one thing we don’t do much for ourselves and that is STRETCH. Susie’s stretching class is full of beneficial moves that target any and all parts of the body. She communicates clearly exactly what you should be doing in each stretch and hold and, also, tells you how to breath. You move with your own level of stretching. She even tells you of advanced stretch poses you can work toward. She is very knowledgeable of what muscles are being worked so you get a chance to learn a bit what is going on inside your body. Even as you are stretching, you are gaining strength throughout your whole body: your back, arms, torso, legs, neck, glutes. A class with Susie is like giving yourself a beautiful gift. It's like giving yourself your very own massage! She is very passionate about what she does and her passion translates through her classes in a very calm and peaceful way.

I learn something new about my body in every single class! If I have ever started a class with and ache or pain, I just ask what to do and Susie knows EXACTLY what makes it feel better. It's like she's the muscle whisperer LOL!

I don't know how she does it, but I have been to at least 40 of her classes and not one has been the exact same! Before class she asks what area(s) we want to focus on and she goes to work in guiding us to move our body and make the pain go away. I'm sad she is moving and I won't get to take her classes, maybe she will make online classes (hint, hint)!

One of my favorite things about Susie's class - she will have you test your body's flexibility, then after she stretches one side of your body, she has you test again and you can FEEL and SEE the difference! It's mind-blowing!
